Julian's Mash-Up

I finished hearing Julian's mash-up and I admit that it entertained me. The songs he chose were interesting and the combination were too. What I did not like is that he didn't mix songs at the same time very much, but at least he did some. I heard some other ones like J.P.'s and Karin's and they were cool also. the problem was that they just cropped parts out of songs and put them together in a matching tempo. I was interested in the expanded and explorer behavior. Julian's mash-up was very cool. He put a lot of effort in it.

Earth Day

As you can see from the video above, rainforest destruction is a major and serious issue. It has been going on for a very long time and it is still happening today. Rainforests all over the world provide our atmosphere and ourselves with oxygen. Without them, the world would change drasticly. AirPollution would get worse since they won't be around to clean air. This would let more sunlight in and the ice in the poles would melt away, causing a worse globar warming. We should invest most in rainforest destruction because if we solve this, we solve so much more too. Raisforest destruction aslo causes vanishing species.

Although the phytoplankton in the ocean do most of the photosynthesis that turns
carbon dioxide into oxygen, without these billions of trees we would loose too much. As air pollution grows, it is burning up the Ozone Layer and the Greenhouse Gases. Without them around sunlight and heat will strike Earth and cause disasters. The air will just be much more polluted if we keep killing these huge ecosystems. If we avoid Rainforest Distruction we are also avoiding Air Pollution. This gives me another reason to tell you that putting most of our fundings to stop these terrible actions is the best option.
As I mentioned before, when the Ozone Layer and the Greenhouse Gases are vanished the poles will melt away do to the heat change. The ocean levels will change and this will disturb many things. Islands and cities on the coasts could be covered in water. Animals like the polar bear that live in cold regions could become extinct. With global warming, animals will vanish, but there is another way that species will vanish if we
destroy rainforests. This huge habitats and ecosystems are home to many animals, many which live in trees. Aslo without the trees, the soil would be unfulfilled of nutrients which are essential for plants to live and give animals and humans energy. Not only this, but global warming can aslo be controlled if we choose this.
There, those are two extra issues in the world that we could be saving just with trying to save one. Rianforest Distruction is by far our best alternative since it is the one that would make the most good change. We can save animals, humans, cities, the air, the soil, and so much more. I hope you find my choise wise and you feel the same way.

Rotoball

Our project is too make a ball come into our screen from the left, then we transform it to what ever we want and play with it. After that we have to transform it back into a ball and make it send it to the right and off our screen. I wanted to have a very crazy and unexpected idea. What I had in mind was grabbing the kite and pumping it very wide until it looks like a towel... more specifically, a kite. Then I take out a bar and connect it to the kite and kite away. The background would be the beach and I would to a trick. Then I come back and deinflate it, that's when it becomes a ball a again. I will then grab the ball and throw it to the right.

Typing Tracker Graphs

I chose this image because it tells you which colored line is what and you can estimate the number easily. I think it is the best option to represent my Typing Tracker numbers.

This chart is different than all of them, and I chose it because it's perfect for Accuracy since it shows you a specific number. Accuracy is the most different result, that's why I chose a different scale.

This Net Speed chart is perfect for it becasue it makes a perfect diagram of how I went up or down over time. I really liked it because it's illustrative.

My Vacation

This vacations where very different from all the ones in my past. First of all, because I stayed here in Puerto Vallarta in exception for 3 small days. On December 18th I flew up to La Ventana, BCS with my teacher Mr. Picketts, some friends, my dad and my younger bro'. We went to compete in a kitesurfing tournament but a unfortunate surprise came to us. Since there hadn't been wind for a long time there until the day before we arrived, they arranged all of the competition the day before we got there. Besides that bad news, we got absolutely no wind on those 3 days. The trip was useless, but still very fun! They was the only time I went out of town this winter break.
Apart from that small trip, my cousins and Dad's family came for Christmas and New Years. They had recently moved to San Fransisco from Switzerland. It was the first time I have Christmas at home and it all went so cool. I got a GoPro Hero camera and was fascinated with it. I taped over twenty videos in the first day. Unfortunately, I went kitesurfing after four days with it and it fell off! I had attached a leash to it in case that happened so that it could stay hanging, but it broke! Anyway, I ordered a new one with my own money. I spent New Years with 70 other people at home. It was very fun because this is the second time that we do a big party there. After that I just chilled at home enjoying the few days I had before coming back. All in all, I had an amazing vacation. I hope you did too!
